Run planned Aug. 25 in Medora

Runners and walkers can enjoy the North Dakota Badlands during the sixth annual Badlands Trail Run scheduled for 9:30 a.m. MDT Aug. 25.

Runners and walkers can enjoy the North Dakota Badlands during the sixth annual Badlands Trail Run scheduled for 9:30 a.m. MDT Aug. 25.

Participants can choose from a 5K or 10K run or a 5K walk. A portion of the run and walk will be on the nationally acclaimed Maah Daah Hey Trail.

Registration fee is $30 before July 25 and $35 after July 25, and includes a moisture-wicking long sleeve shirt with logo, lunch following the run at the Chuckwagon in downtown Medora and awards for various age categories. Registration also can be completed the day of the race at 8 a.m. MDT at the Tjaden Terrace.
