Man sentence to prison in ND meth lab blast
A man involved in a methamphetamine lab explosion in Dickinson has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.
DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A man involved in a methamphetamine lab explosion in Dickinson has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.
The Dickinson Press reports that 40-year-old Shane Cook pleaded guilty Monday to felony reckless endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.
The blast in his apartment on Feb. 11 forced an evacuation of the building and Cook required medical attention.
Southwest District Judge William Herauf also ordered Cook to pay restitution for the damaged caused to the apartment. A restitution hearing has not been scheduled.
