Jamestown 12U team earns sweep

The Jamestown 12 and under girls fastpitch team swept a doubleheader from South Fargo on Tuesday.

In the first game, Jamestown’s Olivia Nihill racked up 10 strikeouts, and Jade Schafer, Chloe Crabtree and Lexi Paul each added two hits to help their squad to a 14-3 win.

Crabtree struck out four in the second game as Jamestown won 23-7. Schafer finished 2-for-2, and Megan Scott scored three runs in the win, which moved Jamestown’s record to 7-5-2 in league play. It’s final games are against Northern Cass on Tuesday.
