MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Timberwolves will start the 2012-13 season at home against the Sacramento Kings on Nov. 2.
The NBA schedule was released Thursday, and the Wolves open at Target Center for a 12th straight year. Other highlights include a March 4 visit by defending champion Miami and an April 1 home game against Boston.
The Timberwolves have 14 of their 82 games slated for national television, on ESPN, NBA TV or TNT.
They play each Eastern Conference team once at home and once away and all but four Western Conference foes twice at home and twice on the road. The Wolves have two home games and one away against Houston and the Los Angeles Lakers and one home game and two on the road against the Kings and Memphis.
It will be a newlook roster with Brandon Roy, Chase Buddinger and Andrei Kirilenko among the most noteworthy additions to the roster during the team’s busy offseason.
