Community calendar of events for July 27, 2012

The Community Calendar publishes events, meetings and fundraisers in The Jamestown Sun at no charge. Include the type of event, date, time, location (including address) and any admission fee. Provide a contact name and telephone number for verification/questions.

Commercial events (those meant to earn a profit for a business) will not be accepted for this calendar.

Special events

Crazy Day in downtown Jamestown. Events include 1 p.m. ping pong ball drop, food, entertainment, inflatable games.

Used inventory sale at Alfred Dickey Library on Third Street SE in downtown Jamestown from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Includes used books, movies, CDs and audio books for five cents each.

First Congregational Church Crazy Day Lunch, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 201 Second St. SE. Handicap accessible. Free water.
