BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Google is hosting a free seminar in Bismarck Friday to help small companies do business on the Internet.

North Dakota native Craig McFadden is helping to put on the event. He says almost 60 percent of businesses don't have an Internet presence, when most of their customers look on the Internet for products.

McFadden says it isn't hard or expensive for a business to set up a website, and Google is trying to spread that message.

Materials from the Bismarck seminar will be available on a website, http://www.northdakotagetonline.com .

McFadden is a native of Cavalier and a graduate of Cavalier High School and Stanford University. The 24-year-old McFadden started working for YouTube during the company's beginnings, and stayed on after Google bought the company.
