MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A Minnesota Gopher hockey player has been cited for disorderly conduct for an incident in Stillwater last weekend.

A police report says Erik Haula was “extremely intoxicated” when he urinated outside the Freight House in Stillwater in view of others after the bars closed early Saturday. The officer noted in his report that Haula was “very cooperative.” Haula was cited and turned over to a friend who the officer described as “somewhat sober.”

Gophers Athletic Department spokesman Garry Bowman says hockey coach Don Lucia is aware of the incident, has talked to Haula and will handle the matter internally. He will be a junior this year. Haula led the team last season with 49 points, including 20 goals.
