Remaining turkey licenses available in August

Turkey hunters have a second chance for licenses this fall. About 1,300 licenses in 10 units around North Dakota remain. As of Aug. 15, all remaining licenses will be issued to hunters on a first-come, first served basis.

The turkey season runs from Oct. 13 to Jan. 13, 2013. Each hunter may have a maximum of 15 licenses.
