CNA class to begin here on Aug. 27

A certified nurse’s assistant class will begin Aug. 27 at the James Valley Career and Technology Center.

A certified nurse’s assistant class will begin Aug. 27 at the James Valley Career and Technology Center. This 18-hour curriculum is open to anyone 16 years of age or older interested in becoming a CNA. The class teaches the basic hands-on skills needed to challenge that part of the CNA test. Some independent study is required to pass the written portion of the test. All materials needed for study are available.

The next class runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 27, 28 and 30 and Sept. 4, 5 and 6 the second week, with testing on Sept. 11. The cost of the class is $100.
