BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A judge has struck guilty pleas for a former Bismarck grade school music teacher who acknowledged having sex with a 17-year-old girl.
John Krueger pleaded guilty in May to three felony charges of corruption or solicitation of a minor. But The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/PmQJce ) that Judge Donald Jorgensen has ordered the pleas be withdrawn because the attorneys in the case did not agree on changes to a sentencing recommendation. He will be sentenced later. He faces up to five years in prison on each charge.
Krueger was a former instrumental music director at three Bismarck Roman Catholic schools. During an earlier court appearance, he acknowledged he'd had sexual contact with the girl at a motel, a home and a Bismarck radio station.
