No one injured in Jamestown fire

Seven Jamestown Fire Department units responded to a house fire at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday, according to Sheldon Mohr, JFD training officer.
The 30 firefighters were on the scene until 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. No one was injured in the fire which occurred at 301 Fourth Ave. NW.
The cause of the fire as well as the total damage caused by the blaze, is under investigation. Jim Reuther, fire chief, anticipated the investigation could be completed Thursday.
Reuther said it was believed the fire started in the crawl space area above the living area’s ceiling.
The family of seven people displaced by the fire received assistance and support from the Buffalo Valley Chapter of the Red Cross Tuesday night.
