The Jamestown High School Band has been working throughout this week, nine hours a day, to prepare a field show for the coming school year and to prepare students for their upcoming trip to Disney World in Florida in December, school officials said.

The field show consists of “Theme from Mission Impossible,” “Over the Rainbow” and “Pirates of the Caribbean III.” The camp has been under the direction of new JHS Band Director Brandon Bondley, former JHS Band Director Brady Olson and Flag Director Cheryl Sunderland, and is assisted by Cheryl McIntyre, University of North Dakota student Leah Entzel and former drum major Jace Erickson.

The students have been working very hard and have kept such a great attitude, officials said. The directors said they were pleased with their progress and their musicianship.

The JHS Band will perform its halftime show at the JHS Homecoming game. There will be a preview night at 6 p.m. today.
