The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents that a convicted sex offender has changed his address in Jamestown.

Jeremy Scott Lundgren, 33, is residing at 2209 Cottage Lane. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 206 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Lundgren has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Lundgren was convicted of gross sexual imposition on Oct. 27, 1998, in Burleigh County District Court, North Dakota. Authorities said a woman went to a shed in her backyard and caught Lundgren having sex with her 6-year-old daughter. Lundgren was 19 at the time. He was sentenced to 10 years, with six years suspended for six years.

Lundgren is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. Attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
