FCUCC to hold VBS next week

First Congregational United Church of Christ offers “Rockin’ with Grandma and Grandpa,” a free vacation Bible school, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. next Monday through Friday, Aug. 6-10, for children ages 2-11.

After a light supper, the children will hear Bible stories in skits presented by some of the grandmas and grandpas of the congregation.

They will also learn popular Bible camp songs and enjoy crafts and games.

The focus is on providing a learning experience that is fun for children of preschool and elementary age.

First Congregational is located at 201 Second St. SE in Jamestown, across from the US Bank parking lot.

The church is handicap accessible.

Call 252-0277 to preregister children. If no one answers, leave the names and ages of the children who will attend.
