Popp signs with Jimmie track

Brittany Popp of Big Horn, Wyo., has signed with the Jamestown College women’s track and field team.

Popp, who graduated from Big Horn High School, participated in basketball and volleyball along with track. She was primarily a hurdler and short sprinter.

“It is hard to say what Brittney’s best events will be at Jamestown, but she seems willing to try anything,” JC women’s coach Jim Clark said. “Brittany has Jimmie history behind her, as her dad, Mike Popp, was a standout cornerback for the Jimmie football team.

“I look forward to meeting Brittany in a couple weeks as she gets started at Jamestown College.”

She is the daughter of Mike Popp of Elko, Nev., and Jeannie Fox of Sheridan, Wyo.
