Letter to the editor: Obama shows he doesn’t believe in American dream

Even though President Barack Obama is living his American dream, he doesn’t believe in it. He has proclaimed that it was not individual effort and freedom that brings success, but the hand of the government. Since Obama has become our president, I have heard him apologize “for” America. I have seen him bow down to Kin Abdullah of Saudia Arabia, which (it seems to me) has opened the door to the eruption of violence and the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East. I have heard him declare America is no longer a Christian nation and he has done practically everything in his power to undermine Americas Judeo-Christian heritage.

Obama wants to fundamentally transform this nation. He is trying to seduce us with his offers of health care from cradle to grave. And, in return, he asks only that we sign over much of our freedom, our self-reliance, ambition and initiative.
