BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Williston man convicted on federal drug charges last year has lost an appeal.
Bert Johnson was accused of possessing about 3 pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of about $100,000. A jury in May 2011 convicted him after a three-day trial.
Johnson appealed his conviction on several grounds, including what he claimed was a lack of evidence and a biased juror. The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the claims and upheld the conviction.
