JRFD responds when controlled burn gets out of control

The Jamestown Rural Fire Department responded to a grass fire southwest of Jamestown at about 4:10 p.m. Monday.

The Jamestown Rural Fire Department responded to a grass fire southwest of Jamestown at about 4:10 p.m. Monday.

The fire was a controlled burn that got out of control, according to scanner reports. It was located in a field roughly four miles southwest of the city.
