Quilt show planned in Fargo next month
Entry forms are due postmarked Aug. 18 for quilt entries in the 33rd Annual Indian Summer Quilt Show and Conference to be held at the Fargo Civic Center Sept. 21-23.

National Quilting Association Certified Judge Klaudeen Hansen from Sun Prairie, Wis., will judge the entries in 18 categories, awarding place ribbons, cash and merchandise.
Special quilt-related displays, a small quilt silent auction and vendor mall will also be available during the weekend conference and show.
Early bird registration for classes and lectures is also Aug. 18 with registration ongoing until classes fill. New this year are longarm machine quilting classes taught by national instructor Sharon Schamber from Payson, Ariz. Karla Alexander from Salem, Ore., will share her stacking method for making quilts. Regional instructors will teach hand and machine quilt techniques, applique, embellishment, embroidery, beading and wool work.
