Patel, Schlager

Roshni Patel and Chad Schlager, both Cedar Rapids, Iowa, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Dashrath and Kokila Patel, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Doug Schlager, Jamestown, and Karen Espeseth, Lake Park, Minn.

Roshni is a 2002 graduate of Cedar Falls High School, Cedar Falls, and a 2012 graduate of University of Iowa College of Law, Iowa City, with a doctorate degree in law. She is an attorney at Merchant and Gould, Minneapolis, Minn.

Chad is a 1996 graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown, and a 2001 graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, N.D., with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is a technical project manager at Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapids.

A Sept. 8 wedding is planned at Westin Chicago Northwest, Itasca, Ill., with the reception and dance to follow.
