Letter to the editor: Berg taking the right steps in eliminating red tape

I believe the more small businesses we have in North Dakota and the nation, the stronger our two economies we will be.
I believe Rep. Rick Berg continues to impress me with his willingness to fight for folks to be able to launch their own small business. Small business is the best cure for the nation’s current economic problems. A good example of Berg’s effort to help small business is his REGS Agenda. The REGS Agenda sets its sights on diminishing red tape that has prevented so many people from taking their ideas to the next level. It’s exactly this kind of thing that our representatives need to be fighting for on our behalf.
I believe Berg understands that Washington’s bureaucratic red tape is hurting North Dakota and U.S. small business owners. This arrogance from Washington, led by President Barack Obama and Senate Democrats, has kept unemployment at outrageously high levels for three years. This irresponsibility by Democrat leaders needs to end.
I support business owners and Berg for the U.S. Senate, who will work with Sen. John Hoeven to get our U.S. economy growing again.
