BISMARCK (AP) — A national golf magazine said three North Dakota golf courses are among the nation’s most fun places to do some hacking.
The Links, the Bully Pulpit and the Hawktree golf courses are featured in the September issue of Golf Digest.
The magazine listed 50 private and 50 public courses for a feature on the nation’s “most fun” courses. The story used the opinions of about a thousand golf enthusiasts to compile the list.
The Links is about 28 miles northeast of Williston, near Ray. The Bully Pulpit is south of Medora in southwestern North Dakota. Hawktree is about five miles north of Bismarck.
Bully Pulpit general manager Dave Solga said his course caters to all levels of golf skill, and comes with some spectacular Badlands scenery.
