Students awarded NSU scholarships

Several area students have been awarded scholarships from Northern State University, Aberdeen, S.D.

Several area students have been awarded scholarships from Northern State University, Aberdeen, S.D.

Daniel Fischer, James-town, has been awarded a $7,000 WolfPACT Scholarship.

Fischer is the son of Kathi Fischer. He is a graduate of James-town High School and will begin classes at NSU in fall 2012. He plans to major in secondary education (history/ social science).

Julie Fuchs, James-town, has been awarded a $7,000 WolfPACT Scholarship.

Fuchs is the daughter of Neil and LeAnn Fuchs. She is a graduate of James-town High School and will begin classes at NSU in fall 2012. She plans to major in pre-med.

Kayla Thoele, Jamestown, has been awarded a $5,000 WolfPACT Scholarship.

Thoele is the daughter of Kimberly and Kevin Thoele. She is a graduate of Jamestown High School and will begin classes at NSU in fall 2012. She is undecided on her major.

Sasha Seekins, Jamestown, has been awarded a $7,000 WolfPACT Scholarship.

Seekins is the daughter of William and Joanne Seekins. She is a graduate of Jamestown High School and will begin classes at NSU in fall 2012. She plans to major in fine art.

Ashley Stahlhut, Jamestown, has been awarded a $7,000 WolfPACT Scholarship.

Stahlhut is the daughter of Rollie and Carol Stahlhut. She is a graduate of Jamestown High School and will begin classes at NSU in fall 2012. She plans to major in history education/psychology.
