Litchville-Marion school to begin

Litchville-Marion Public School will begin the 2012-2013 school term at 8:40 a.m. Aug. 21. School will be held all day. Buses will run and lunch will be served.

Teacher inservices are planned Aug. 16 and Aug. 27.

The last day of school is May 17, 2013 with graduation May 17, 2013.

Projected enrollment is 62 in the high school and 65 in the elementary school.

For school lunches, payments are due in advance. Fees are: breakfast, all students daily, $1.80; noon meal, all students daily, $2.65; parents eating with their children, $4 and extra milk, .35 cents. The application for free and reduced meals is available in either of the school offices.

Season pass/field trip fee is $25 grades 7-12 and $15 grades 1-6. PK and kindergarten students: free. This ticket gets people into home basketball/football games.
