Comedian at First Assembly

First Assembly of God has announced Justin Fennell, comedian, is the entertainment at the annual Sunday school church picnic, which will be from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at McElroy Park.

His material includes yarn-spinning stories, props, audience participation, music and stand-up comedy. Fennell’s professional experience includes working as the director of institutional advancement of a private college in Florida and serving as an associate pastor. He has toured professionally for more than 20 years as a humorist speaking primarily to nonprofit Christ-centered organizations.

There will be a picnic meal and also games and activities, including volleyball and inflatables for the whole family.

“Simply Renewed,” the First Assembly of God worship band, will lead in music.
