N.D man pleads guilty to assault
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon announced Monday that 21-year-old Lionel R. Jewett OF Fort Yates pleaded guilty to counts of assault with intent to commit murder, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of burglary.
BISMARCK (AP) — U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon announced Monday that 21-year-old Lionel R. Jewett OF Fort Yates pleaded guilty to counts of assault with intent to commit murder, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of burglary.
Prosecutors said Jewett attacked two women in January. Jewett attacked one woman with a garden hoe and kicked both women. He also stole a vehicle, tools and some money from a local church in March and October of last year.
