Lynx’s Moore tops WNBA jersey sales again

Maya Moore’s No. 23 again tops the list of the WNBA’s most popular jerseys. Minnesota’s second-year guard was No. 1 on the tally released Thursday.

NEW YORK (AP) — Maya Moore’s No. 23 again tops the list of the WNBA’s most popular jerseys. Minnesota’s second-year guard was No. 1 on the tally released Thursday.

Moore, the reigning Rookie of the Year after being the top pick in the 2011 draft, also had the top selling jersey last year.

Los Angeles’ Candace Parker was second for the second straight year. Parker had been No. 1 from Oct. 2008 until she was replaced by Moore.
