One person injured in one-car crash

One person was injured in a Wednesday crash that caused more than $30,000 in damage, according to the Jamestown Police Department. The crash happened around 11:20 a.m. on the 1000 block of 14th Avenue Southwest.

One person was injured in a Wednesday crash that caused more than $30,000 in damage, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The crash happened around 11:20 a.m. on the 1000 block of 14th Avenue Southwest.

Candace Bussieri, 47, 718 12th Ave. SW, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet car northbound on the 1000 block of 14th Avenue.

Bussieri crossed the intersection of 11th Street and struck an unattended 2000 General Motors vehicle.

She was taken by ambulance to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center for possible injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

There was an estimated $20,000 in damage to the Chevrolet and an estimated $12,000 in damage to the General Motors.

Bussieri was cited for care required and driving under suspension.
