BISMARCK (AP) — A Bismarck man shot in the arm by police will spend three years in prison for terrorizing.

The Bismarck Tribune reported that 35-year-old Arthur Feather pleaded guilty Friday to two counts of felony terrorizing. He will serve the three years after he completes in January a one-year sentence for escape that he currently is serving in the State Penitentiary.

The terrorizing charges stemmed from a March 16 argument between Feather and his girlfriend. Feather allegedly assaulted her, prompting a witness to call police. Authorities say Feather ignored officers’ orders and was shot first with a stun gun and then with a gun.
