Hugo’s Family Fun Day, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Joos Park on Jamestown Reservoir. Children’s games throughout the day, free lunch at noon, Aberdeen Aqua Addicts perform water ski tricks at 6 p.m. No admission charge.
Free program commemorating anniversaries at Whitestone Hill State Historic Site near Kulm. Events include: 2:30 p.m., Larsen Brothers, Paul and Lowell, perform western and gospel music. Walt Bailey speaks on incidents leading up to 1863 Whitestone Hill event. Admission for program, concert, free. Admission cost for the program and concert is free. A picnic meal will be served after the concert for $10 per person, with children ages 6 and under free. Bring lawn chairs, blankets. Sponsor: State Historical Society of North Dakota, Whitestone Hill Historical Society. To get to the site: From Kulm south 12 miles on North Dakota State Highway 56, then east four miles on a gravel road, then north nearly two miles to the site.
