Update: Patrol identifies Dazey, ND, killed in rollover Sunday

A 43-year-old Dazey, N.D., man died early Sunday when his vehicle entered a ditch and rolled, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

A 43-year-old Dazey, N.D., man died early Sunday when his vehicle entered a ditch and rolled, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The patrol said Jarrod Sherlock was eastbound at about 2 a.m. on paved Barnes County Road 4, about five miles west of Dazey, when the accident occurred. The patrol said the 2006 Dodge 2500 Sherlock was driving entered the south ditch, overcorrected, crossed the road and entered the north ditch where it rolled several times in a bean field, coming to rest on its wheels.

Sherlock was ejected and died at the scene, the patrol said. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The accident is under investigation, the patrol said.
