Work starts on U.S. Highway 83
Construction will begin today on U.S. Highway 83 from the junction of N.D. Highway 34 in Hazelton to the south junction of N.D. Highway 13 in Linton, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

Work will consist of placement of a seal coat to preserve the new asphalt.
During construction: motorists may experience brief delays; an 18-foot width restriction will be in place in the work zone; speeds may be reduced; flaggers and pilot cars will be present.
This project is expected to be completed in mid-September.
The traveling public should use caution when driving through the construction zone.
Motorists should allow extra distance between their vehicles and the vehicles in front of them, use extra caution, obey flaggers and posted signs.
