Hartmann, Reimer

Shelbie Hartmann and Chad Reimer, both Fargo, N.D., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Al and Pam Hartmann, Cleveland, N.D., and Randy and Deb Reimer, Bismarck, N.D.

Shelbie’s grandparents are Vern and Cathy Herman, Jamestown, and Amber Hartmann, Brookings, S.D., and the late Alvin Hartmann.

Chad’s grandparents are LaRayne Reimer, Carrington, N.D., and the late Robert Reimer, and the late James Bakken and the late Josephine Bakken.

Shelbie is a 2008 graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown, and is currently attending North Dakota State University, Fargo, and University of Mary, Bismarck. She plans to graduate in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in medical lab science. She is completing an internship at North Plains Lab, Bismarck.

Chad is a 2007 graduate of Washburn High School, Washburn, N.D., and attended Minot State University, Minot, N.D. He has served in the North Dakota Army National Guard since 2008 and is a UH-60 Blackhawk crew chief/mechanic in Fargo.

A Sept. 22 wedding is planned at Shelbie’s parents’ home with a reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus, Jamestown.
