Youth b-ball, FB leagues planned

The Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department is hosting youth girls basketball and boys football leagues.

The girls basketball league is for kids in grades 1-4 and runs each Saturday morning from Sept. 8 through Oct. 13. Cost before Aug. 30 is $15 and $20 after.

The football league runs Saturday mornings Sept. 8 to Oct. 13. Cost is $15 before Aug. 30 and $20 after. Skill work will be worked on first half each day and a game the second half. League will be held at Hillcrest softball fields.
