No city garbage pickup on Labor Day

Due to the Labor Day holiday, there will be no garbage pickup on Monday, according to the Jamestown City Engineer’s Office.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, there will be no garbage pickup on Monday, according to the Jamestown City Engineer’s Office.

Monday's garbage route will be picked up on Tuesday.

Tuesday's route will be picked up on Wednesday; Wednesday and Thursday's routes will be picked up on Thursday with normal garbage pick-up resuming on Friday, Sept. 7.

The baling facility will be open this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and closed on the Labor Day holiday.

Garbage routes will begin at 7 a.m. each morning.
