Donation made for chapel

Marvin Tokach, a resident of Heritage Centre on the Ave Maria Village campus, recently made a $25,000 donation to the Ave Maria Chapel capital campaign.

The project consists of the design and building of a 2,500-square-foot ecumenical chapel, an enclosed transportation center and a family suite.

“It’s very important that the residents of Ave Maria Village have a chapel devoted to their spiritual need and a space devoted to socializing,” Tokach said. “This project does both of those and adds an enclosed transport center and family suite. I’m very happy to be a part of making it happen.”

Ave Maria Village CEO Tim Burchill said, “Marv has been a great supporter of our ministry for a very long time. He has served on our advisory board for over 30 years. This gift shows his commitment to making Ave Maria Village and the Heritage Centre a better place for those who live here and those yet to come.”
