Construction begins Friday east of New Rockford

Construction will begin Friday on N.D. Highway 15 from the junction of U.S. Highway 281 to the junction of N.D. Highway 20 east of New Rockford, N.D., according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

Work will consist of roadway resurfacing.

During construction: motorists may experience brief delays; an 11.5-foot width restriction will be in place in the work zone; speeds may be reduced; flaggers and pilot cars may be present; and fresh oil may be present on the roadway.

This projected is expected to be completed in mid-October.

The public should use caution when driving through the construction zone.

Motorists should allow extra distance between their vehicles and the vehicles in front of them, use extra caution and obey flaggers and posted signs.
