Labor Day specials at speedway next two days
The Jamestown Speedway will be hosting its annual Labor Day weekend Midwest Modified and Street Stock specials today and Sunday.
The Jamestown Speedway will be hosting its annual Labor Day weekend Midwest Modified and Street Stock specials today and Sunday.
The WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds will be racing for $1,000 starting at 7 p.m., while the WISSOTA Street Stocks will be gunning for a $1,000 winner’s prize on Sunday. Sunday’s races begin an hour earlier at 6 p.m.
All regular classes will be running each night, including WISSOTA Modifieds, Bombers and Hornets.
The speedway will also be bringing back the Road Hogs for the weekend specials, in what organizers have dubbed “Road Hog Reunion.” The Road Hogs are piloted by two individuals, one on the steering wheel and the other controlling the throttle and the brakes.
A Helmet Toss Contest is also scheduled to be held. Admission is $12 per night for adults, $6 for kids or $30 for a family.
