Jamestown College quarterback Gus Ramasco has been named the Association of Independent Institution’s Male Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore from Winnemucca, Nev., threw for 227 yards on 18 of 34 passing in the Jimmies’ 42-26 loss to Concordia College on Saturday. Ramasco had two touchdown passes and a 1-yard scoring plunge. He was intercepted once in the game.
Ramasco and the Jimmie offense gained 349 yards in the game.
The Jimmies play at NCAA Division III Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday at 1 p.m.
