SCARTA has convention here
The Stutsman County Area Retired Teachers Association hosted a state convention at the Gladstone Inn & Suites on Aug. 28 and 29. The theme for the convention was “Education Forward”.
The Stutsman County Area Retired Teachers Association hosted a state convention at the Gladstone Inn & Suites on Aug. 28 and 29. The theme for the convention was “Education Forward”. The main speaker was Sharon Smith from the National Retired Teachers Association. A tour of the classrooms at Roosevelt School provided insight into the use of technology in classrooms today. Business meetings and breakout sessions were held throughout the two days. Entertainment at the evening banquet was provided by the singing quartet “Cheaper Than Therapy.”
