Authorities have identified a Mississippi man killed in a construction accident southeast of Williston.

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified a Mississippi man killed in a construction accident southeast of Williston.

The Williston Herald reported that 23-year-old Brandon Woodard died Aug. 28 at a Weatherford lodge construction site.

Williston Police Det. Cory Colling said the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.

Weatherford spokeswoman Kelly Lawrence declined comment.

Woodard’s father, Keith Woodard, said his son had been working in North Dakota for only a week and had a wife and four children, including newborn twins.
