McIlonie, Vandeberg

Becky McIlonie and Austin Vandeberg, both Detroit Lakes, Minn., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Robert and Linda McIlonie, Pingree, N.D., Eugene Vandeberg, Epping, N.D., and Cynthia Mittal, New Town, N.D.

Becky is a 1999 graduate of Pingree-Buchanan High School, Pingree, a 2003 graduate of Jamestown College, Jamestown, with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and a 2007 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry, Forest Grove, Ore., with a doctorate in optometry. She is an optometrist at Morrison Eye Care, Detroit Lakes.

Austin is a 2004 graduate of Ray High School, Ray, N.D. He is studying computer engineering at North Dakota State University, Fargo, N.D.

A Sept. 29 wedding is planned at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with a reception and dance to follow at Gladstone Inn & Suites, Jamestown.
