N.D. pageants scheduled

The Mrs., Miss and Miss Teen North Dakota International Pageant is accepting applications for the 2013 state pageant. Those who apply now may be eligible to represent their cities or counties in the 2013 Mrs., Miss or Miss Teen North Dakota International Pageant.

The pageant will be held Dec. 1 in Fargo.

The North Dakota International Pageant system is a program that recognizes North Dakota’s girls and women and their accomplishments. The North Dakota International Pageants are the official state preliminaries to the Mrs., Miss and Miss Teen International Pageants held in Chicago, Ill., each July. In addition to three new winners there will also be a CoverModel award and the opportunity to win a photo shoot in Minneapolis with a pageant photographer.

Requirements are simple and no experience is necessary. There are no swimsuit or talent competitions. Mrs. contestants must be married, 21-56 years of age, U.S. citizens and residents of North Dakota. Teens are 13-18 and Miss contestants are 19-29. Areas of competition include personal interview, physical fitness, fun fashion (Miss and Teen only) and evening gown.
