Medina Fall Festival set
The Medina Fall Festival is this weekend, starting with performances by the Old Tyme Kings and Hannah Olson at 7 p.m. Friday at City Hall. Admission is free to anyone with a festival button, which can be bought at any of several local businesses for $5.

Saturday’s events start with a parade at 10:30 a.m. and exhibits in Medina. A beef feed starts at noon. Cost is free for anyone age 5 or younger, $4 for anyone ages 6 to 12 and $10 for anyone 13 or older.
The truck/tractor pull starts at 1 p.m. Admission is $5 with a festival button or $10 without a button.
There will be bingo at the Legion Hall and music in the Decoy Bar Saturday evening.
An ecumenical service will start at 11 a.m. Sunday at the school, followed by a dinner of scalloped potatoes and ham at the park. Cost is free for anyone age 5 or younger, $4 for anyone ages 6 to 12; and $7 for anyone 13 or older.
A classic car show will be south of the school, while a heritage harvest with grain threshing and potato digging will be featured behind Cenex.
