Tornadoes, Imperials ranked in latest polls
The Oakes High School football team remained third in the latest Class A poll after a big win over Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock last Friday.
The Oakes High School football team remained third in the latest Class A poll after a big win over Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock last Friday.
Oakes received 31 votes, behind leader and defending state champion Stanley-Powers Lake (60) and Heart River (45). Larimore and Hazen rounded out the top five with Harvey-Wells County, Velva, Grant County Flasher and Maple Valley-Enderlin also receiving votes.
Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter was listed fifth in the poll, receiving one first-place vote. Wyndmere-Lidgerwood sat atop the poll again, garnering eight of 14 first-place votes. North Star was second in the poll, earning four first-place votes while Divide County was third. Cavalier, ranked fourth, also received a first-place vote.
Hankinson and South Border both received a vote.
