Goslinga scores both, NSU tops Jimmies

ABERDEEN — Rachel Goslinga scored a goal 15 minutes, 27 seconds into the first half, and added a second one 53 minutes later as Northern State (S.D.) trumped Jamestown College 2-0 in women’s soccer action on Wednesday.
Goslinga’s first goal was assisted by Amelia Taylor, and the second score came after a scrum in the middle. Goslinga popped out of it with a shot to the lower left side past Jamestown goalie Kayla Byle.
Byle finished with 11 saves, while NSU’s Kourney Woracek stopped four shots.
The Jimmies (0-3-1) host North Central University (Minn.) on Saturday.
