Rally Day set at United Presbyterian
United Presbyterian Church will begin its Christian education program with Rally Day activities Sunday. Breakfast snacks and refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall at 9 a.m. Sunday school classes for ages 3 to adult also begin at 9 a.m. There are no enrollment fees.

The Sunday school program supports various mission projects throughout the year, including the Backpacks For Kids program, Community Food Pantry, Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry, One Great Hour of Sharing, Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday, Pentecost offering (for children and youth at risk on the Spirit Lake reservation), orphanage in the Chogoria Presbytery in Kenya, Africa, and Christmas gifts for youth who are patients at the North Dakota State Hospital.
The Presbyterian Church offers two worship services on Sunday mornings beginning this Sunday. The early service begins at 8:15 a.m. The traditional service begins at 10:30 a.m. A nursery attendant is provided from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. for children age 4 and younger.
Other Christian education opportunities are available throughout the week for youths and adults.
A celebration potluck meal will follow the 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday.
United Presbyterian Church is located at 302 Second Ave. S.E. and is handicap accessible through the double glass doors in the alley.
