FUMC hosts Kanneh
At 6 p.m. Sunday, First United Methodist Church begins its fall season with a concert featuring Liberian native Lasana Kanneh.
At 6 p.m. Sunday, First United Methodist Church begins its fall season with a concert featuring Liberian native Lasana Kanneh.
The public is invited to hear the mix of African, reggae and gospel music. Following the concert there will be dessert, coffee and an opportunity to meet Kanneh.
First UMC also returns to regular worship services Sunday at 8:30 and 11 a.m. and begins a new Sunday school season for all ages at 9:30 a.m. First UMC is located across the street from Jamestown Middle School and next door to Alfred Dickey Library.
