Immanuel starts Sunday school

This Sunday, Rally Sunday will mark the beginning of the new Sunday school year at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1403 Ninth Ave. SE. Classes and adult Bible study will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Worship services will follow at 10:30 a.m. with the Sunday school youth assisting in the service as ushers, Scripture readers and acolytes. Special music will be shared by the Immanuel choir, with congregational participation. A balloon release and a potluck dinner will complete the festivities.

Immanuel Lutheran Church is located next to Gardenette Housing in southeast Jamestown and the building is accessible with no steps for the physically challenged.

The Rev. Nels Lillejord and the congregation of the Immanuel invite the public to worship with them.
