FEMA, Fargo hosting map meetings
The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the city of Fargo will be hosting meetings this month to discuss the newly revised preliminary floodplain map.
FARGO (AP) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the city of Fargo will be hosting meetings this month to discuss the newly revised preliminary floodplain map.
FEMA representatives at the meetings will give one-hour presentations explaining the remapping process. Booths staffed by FEMA staff and city engineers will be set up to field questions from residents.
All Fargo residents are encouraged to attend.
The meetings are scheduled for Tuesday at the Davies High School gym and Wednesday at the Civic Center Arena, both from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
